Warden Callaway
Years ago a guy up the road had a Belvidere with 426 Hemi, had a lot of work done to the engine. His wife pull out of Dog and Suds and the carburetor linkage broke letting it go full throttle. By the time she got it stopped, it landed in a yard. I don't think much body damage or property. But remember them telling ever pushrod was bent. 2

Rolling back was taboo, verboten, forbidden and would get you a slap in the head from your Dad or your friends. Gotta admit, it's saved me on occasion and not doing it has bit me!

But remember them telling ever pushrod was bent. I had that happen with my 67 Mustang GTA with a 390. The shaft on the butterfly valve in the carburetor broke. I was able to get through two left turns and into a parking lot by turning the engine off and on! The tires were smoking at each turn! 3

Poor thing! But her hair looked nice! When I lived in Concord, NC a family up the road from us had bought a house that faced the road that terminated at the front of their property at a 3 way stop. They had several large and attractive boulders placed in their yard blocking the house from cars crashing into their home. Shortly after that a pickup truck ran the stop sign and blasted into one of the big boulders. Within a year at least 3 vehicles did the same thing. I saw the man that bought that house at the grocery store one day and he told me some county bureaucrat had been giving him grief about the boulders until the first crash. He never heard from the county man again.
