I was reading an article one time about using a sword for self-defense.

The article told about a man who woke up hearing someone downstairs. The burglar was treated to the siteSIGHT of a 6 foot 4 inch, 280 pound naked man running down the stairs, holding a samurai sword over his head and screaming. YAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

It said the burglar turned to run and ran into the wall and knocked himself out.

What does it say about us that we need a sign like that.

So, do you like stilettos, wedges, cone heels, French heels? What’s your favorite for trail hiking?

There any knowledgeable Chevrolet / Corvette / hot rod people here?

Looking at that Corvette ad I posted, and several of the cars have 300-inch engines.

Trouble is, I could not find any reference to a Chevrolet 300 inch engine. 302, yes. 305, yes. 300????

I'm thinking that is a horse power number rather than CI size.

Correct.  Chevrolet still labels engines by horsepower output instead of displacement as they will offer multiple packages and tunes that offer different power outputs from the same displacement.   For example, the '67 Corvette was offered in two displacements but in 5 different power outputs.
