By that, I mean villains. Villains so... Villainous, that they make you root for and cheer their demise. Or, ones that are just so good at being the villain that you really can't imagine the movie without them. A few come to mind for me.

I believe he was a friend of Eastwoods and was in several movies.  the relevant quote from his lines today, as I remember it "there's no end to doing good." Woof!

Cant remember his name but the gang leader in A clock work orange

Malcolm McDowell.  I played the movie at a Halloween costume party many years ago, one guest came in the costume.  All the women freaked out, and most were serious Martial artists (as were most of the guests).
