Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Was looking at the home page and they have the EOT overall winners list posted! It's called "A History of SASS World Champions." What a trip down memory lane. Looks like they are now working on a bio and photo for each of the winners. http://www.sassnet.com/EoT/champions.php And the dominant shooter? HOLY TERROR
Goody, SASS #26190 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Reckon what the story is for 1980? Have two listed as Men's Champions, Paydirt and Great Dane.
Misty Moonshine Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Reckon what the story is for 1980? Have two listed as Men's Champions, Paydirt and Great Dane. I asked the same thing when I started building the pages! According to the Judge, that was a year where they had a BRILLIANT idea...something like..."whoever wins the top gun shoot off should be the winner!!" Well... I know you all will find this as a shock, but not ALL the ideas over the years have been good ones... So... to sum it up, there are 2 winners listed because one winner won overall (the match) and one winner won the shoot off. Billed as the Champion at the time, I didnt want to take away anyone's glory.. and so it is. Misty
Mad Dog Jack, SASS #77862 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I realize what an enormous project it would be to do it, but SASS should post National and Regional winners down to the categories. It's so easy for info to get lost "out there". Just a little project to keep you busy Misty.....and thanks for the EOT info.
