I do lots of hiring. You probably know this, but dress 1 notch above what you expect to wear to work. Don't bring a big gulp drink in with you. Turn off the cell phone. Be honest!

My favorite response was a guy said he had to go to court soon, for aggregated assault charge. I asked him what happened, he said this guy ( think PC incorrect racial term) aggravated me, so I assaulted him.

What? You're working for llamas?

Well, no............

Half the time I think I'm working with a bunch of 'apes', not that I intend to insult any of my Cimeon friends ;)

One other thing... Snarly... no b/s here....

What you think about... you will bring about. You have a great attitude... and you need to project that greatness where ever you go.

Your medical training... within 15 months... should be a catalyst that allows you to pick and choose. In some professions... you have to have a job... to get a job. That will change due to a certain avalanche of a law... coming our way.

Keep your head up... YOU... are and will be... a marketable commodity.

I switched careers at age 58. It was exhilerating!

That's a fancy word for scared to death.

Good luck, pard.

At 58, I called it quits and retired. Nobody was paying anything above 1980 ($10 bucks an hour) wages in 2009. I was used to $25 a hour, so I retired and don't have to worry about some BOSS telling me how hard times were. Hell, I didn't elect O'bummer, you guys did. Live with it. Bye!

Good Luck in gettin' a Job.

I did that, too. Same age, too. Keep your head up. You know your worth. Be confident and look 'em straight in the eyes. Integrity and coinfidence are worth more than your credentials. Your credentials are your introduction. Make the most of it when you interview. Straight shooters do win.

Your pard,

Marty Mudd.
