Pretty much. I know of cases where FaceBook requires a state ID to make sure the account is you, and also not trying to get past a previous ban. Several major sites are enforcing one account for life as standard operating procedure. One of my friends signed up an account for his cat many years ago, he is very careful with what he posts on it.
