Boudreaux asked Thibodeaux can you build me a box 1 inch by 50 feet long.
Thibodaux's says "Yes but what do you need that for?" Boudreau says "My neighbor Robichaux moved and he forgot his garden hose and wants me to mail it to him COD."

Fixed it for you. :P

The story goes something like this:

If you look at the last four months of the year, you will note something interesting. SEPTember starts with SEPT, or SEVEN. OCTober starts with OCT, or EIGHT. NOVember starts with NOV, or NON, which is NINE, and DECember starts with DEC, for DECIMAL, which is the basis for modern mathematics.

"How did this come about?" you ask. GOOD question.

It is said that back in the days of the Roman Empire, Julius Caesar wanted to name a month after himself. For whatever reason he chose the seventh month, called it July, and moved the rest of the months of the year to follow it. When his son, Augustus came to power, he did the same, calling the eighth month August, again moving the following months to follow it.

Now here's the kicker: They both wanted the months named after them to have 31 days in them, while at the time, they only had 30. So the each stole a day from February, leaving it with 28 days.

I can't claim factual knowledge of this, I wasn't around then. Ask Forty Rod, I think that he was a Corporal in the Roman Legion back then. But this is how I heard it waaaaaay back in Elementary School.

We don't have a First or a Main. We have Cherry.

The next town over has a main, but it's got an e on it. All of the streets in that town are states. Actually the streets are numbers. The avenues are States. And the main Street is Ohio Avenue.

The town was settled by Yankees, and all of the streets in the center of town are northern states. If you want Florida or Alabama or Georgia, you got to go way out to the edge of town.

Only town south of the Mason-Dixon line with a statue to the Union soldiers.
