How about:

After two months, the quarantine is lifted.

"Well, we used to buy that stuff from China, but we're going to start making it here. You looking for work?"

More like “we buy that from China but it’s two months till the next boatload arrives, we’re gonna try making it here. You looking for work?”

How about:

I used to work 10 hour days, 6 & 7 days a week, thinking I needed all that money for

eating out, new cars, etc.....

I realized my life had TO MUCH 'non-essential' crap so I think I'll start working 8 hour days, 5 days a week

and START enjoying my family and personal life a little more.

..........Widder

More "Well,  after having our doors shut for two months because we are "nonessential" we have gone belly up and won't be able to reopen. Good luck to all of you."

More than a few small businesses have already thrown in the towel and some larger ones aren’t far behind. Cheese Cake Factory might be one of them.

Widder, when I retired, it almost looked like I got a raise!

A lot less gas used;

No more parking fees;

Car insurance cost dropped;

Less wear and tear on the car;

no more suits, shirts & ties etc for every day of the week ++

No more restaurant lunches etc.

And:

I didn't have to get up at 6:00 every day and fight traffic drive into work dodging fools driving while tey were eating their breakfast, drinking coffee, playing with their phone or putting on make-up.

I swore that if one more &Y((%$(__* sideswiped me while they were doing that............. I was going to ensure they didn't reproduce.

Hmmm...I get up at 3:00 every day.....

Benefits of working during this thing.

  • I ride my bike at 80+ MPH to and from work everyday. This is  awesome!
  • So far, that is the only real benefit I have seen.

And everyone prospers again, except fur Walmart. They go out of business without a steady supply of cheap Chinese junk

Yep! Of course it’s a good thing skin isn’t on the list. Not a lot of that left in slides on the freeway. :P

All nonessential personnel should stay home.

”well we did well without you, we’re letting you go”

Then the nonessentials will be needed to correct screws up the management made during quarantine?

The other 1.5 hours is probably spent on breakfast and defending his toilet paper and supplies. If it's a Harley, that could explain things also. You know, getting it started, cleaning up the leaking oil, etc.

Yes! That’s the best part. Of course, I am not a lunatic lane splitter...uh, the term is no longer lane splitting. It is “Lane Sharing”. :lol:

Not kidding. :D

I ride a Kawasaki Versys. 50 mpg...47 mpg if freeway is open like it is now. ;)

I like to goof off drinking coffee and talking with you fine folks for 1/2 hour every morning then I shave, shower, put lunch together, give me bike a once over. If I need gas I leave a little early to stop for gas.
Then it’s GO Time! :D

The one thing you have to know is pretty much everyone in the fast lane is doing 80-85 as well. If we could kick it up a couple more notches it would be like a slow Formula One Race.
It’s go or get run over. Haha!
