Alpo Posted December 6, 2024 Share Posted December 6, 2024 I have seen, since the coming of the internet and YouTube, forty-eleven different videos explaining that that is the reason for the hole in the lift tab on a can of soda pop. Why would anybody drink a can of Coke with a straw? You either drink it straight out of the can or you pour it into a glass. I have never seen anyone drink out of a can with a straw. And they have the same type of lift tab on cans of beer. Is that so you can drink your beer through a straw? One of my former bosses used to drink his Coca Cola using a straw through that hole. He also had a microfiber cloth to wipe down the top before he popped the tab and kept a box of straws in his desk. According to reports American Bear presented a sorry sight the following morning in court. The magistrate said he thought that American Bear had taken sufficient chastisement, and discharged him.
