Tyrel Cody
None here in Middle Tennessee thus far. I've a friend in North Georgia that has seen a bunch of them and I can hear them in the videos(banjo and dulcimer teacher) she makes on her porch. Michigan Slim
Nothing around Fort Wayne. Some areas around have them I'm told. I'm wondering if when the city pulled out 15000 Ash trees if it didn't affect them here.
Abilene Slim SASS 81783
I’ve been serenaded by them 24/7 for the past 50 or 60 years. I don’t know what it’s like not to hear them.
Alpo
As Slim said, if they're around here I wouldn't be able to hear 'em.

Sedalia Dave
All depends on where you live. Only a big deal in the news because they are bothered by them. Why Do Some Cicadas Appear Only Every 17 Years?
