Two Opposing thoughts come at the same time:

- this could be the way forward for places where semi-autos are restricted

and on the flip side:

- just because you CAN . . .

What was the question that led to this?

What could I do that would be really, really impractical and stupid?

That was my first reaction.

No evil 5.56 ammo.

No evil magazine of any kind.

No evil shot fired with only a trigger pull.

But you can throw a lot of serious lead in relatively short order with this critter, and reload way faster than a ‘73.

It depends on what state you live in. California considers links and belts to be magazines.

Don’t load more than 10 rounds here unless it is a 50 BMG. I believe the Ma Deuce is considered a highly dangerous destructive device by our state official idiots. They are certain that most gangsters and drug addicts use a 50 BMG to rob banks, liquor stores and 7/11 markets so the idiots have limited the 50 BMG to links of only 5 rounds! The ban of all 50 BMG firearms in the state has been a huge crime deterrent!
