See how well that worked for her!

I always try to have a Plan A, Plan B and a SHTF Plan. Having multiple plans have got me this far, so I'll continue it.;)

There used to be a TV show, called Leverage. Five people - Parker, the thief, Elliot, the guy that beat people up, Sophie, the con artist, Hardison, the skinny black guy computer wiz, and Nate, the Mastermind. Nate comes up with the plans.

In one episode, what they were trying was not working so Hardison said something about, "Time to switch to plan B".

And Nate tells him that they are way past plan B - they are on plan F.

Hardison says, "Plan F?!? How many damn plans you got? Do you have a plan M?"

Nate replied, "Yes. In plan M, Hardison dies."

Three or four times during the rest of the run of the show Elliot asked if it was time to change to plan M.

Always liked that show. They did a sequel show to it, having Sophie replace Nate as the planner, and bringing in Noah Wyle as a reformed Corporate Lawyer, and most of the time having Hardison's female cousin replace him to round out the team. Only did 2 seasons though.

I'll look at some of the photos of families in front of their soddies and marvel at the courage it took to leave established towns, or communities, leaving almost everything behind, go hundreds of miles, and then try to put down roots starting from scratch.   No shelter, no well, ground that has never felt the plough.  Trusting in God and their own hands to tame nature.

Show of hands - who else was sitting there wondering what the hell Limbaugh had to do with Twain?

I just got through listening to most - I couldn't make it all the way through - of the "song" Tom Sawyer by the "band" Rush.

According to wiki they were active for 50 years. I sure am glad I managed to not hear them for those 50 years.

I haven't had my morning coffee this morning, so I will try to be polite. I'm fine with someone having an opinion, but in those cases where you want to express it, perhaps you should learn to be a bit more polite about it, especially when it should be obvious you might be insulting others (You might have figured it from my previous comment). Anyone here who thought Limbaugh had anything to do with this should crawl out from their cultural rock more often.

I was introduced to the band Rush long before some guy by the last name of Limbaugh hit the scene. I'm glad you avoided them for the extent of their career, because you simply wouldn't have understood. In large part, Neil Peart, their drummer and lyricist wrote the soundtrack of my adolescence and much of my adulthood. Geddy Lee's vocals aren't everyone's cup of tea by a long shot, but the musical talent of the band is difficult to deny. I could go on, but I will end by saying I was at work with customers waiting when I found out Peart had died of a rare brain cancer. It was like a punch in the gut, because of the importance of their music in my life.

So, no, I need not show my hand out of cluelessness. If I did raise it, it would probably be an inappropriate gesture, and I try to avoid that.

I need coffee.
