Texas Ranger Chick Bowdrie
I'm new to the wire, so I would like to learn the meaning of all the abbreviations that are fling around out there. Thanks for the help.
Doc Fill 'Em 67797
The main one on the Classifieds most folks ask about is BTT. That stands for "Back To Top" . You post that so that your ad will move from the bottom of the page back up to the top. Give some others and we'll tell you what they mean. Utah Bob #35998
Some are standard interwebgoogle abbreviations you can look up Here. Like In My Humble Opinion. WB - Wild Bunch (refers either to the founders of SASS or to Wild Bunch Action Shooting) Confusing sometimes.

Captain Lee Bishop
How about a breakdown on the acronyms for all the small side groups out there? I see letters used when talking about these other groups (like SBS for Stealth Bullet Society) and even though I’ve been a SASS member and CAS shooter (when I can) for a few years now, I still don’t know what many of them mean. For example, a recent post that talks about ‘GOTOW’ left me baffled and only after a moment realized it meant “Guns Of The Old West” magazine, and that’s only because I’ve read that magazine more than once. Otherwise, I still might not know. I still have no idea what GOFWG or WE means, in a thread that’s been going on a long time here on the wire. Going through that thread leaves no clues, either.
