I know it is a long shot but I would like a pair of 5 1/2 inch Hammerli Virginians. I have the pictured 357 Vaquero to trade. No box. Is my Vaquero a Sheriffs Model? Thanks for your knowledge and consideration. Doc Clint

This year’s SC State was the best Bushwhack yet. Stew and crew outdid themselves!

I've got an old 1950's AA from the Bell System, stone dead, but no corrosion. -

Good shooting with you today @Widder, SASS #59054! It’s always fun to watch you run that ‘97! If it will help get you to Alabama State I can offer you a bunk close to the range, no charge! If not, I’ll see you at the Reckoning!! -
Dang. Thank you, and Cameron Blasek.

Wouldn't think in today's technology, they could make a battery that doesn't leak. The damn Duracells ruined my Garmin GPS in the course of a year of sitting with brand new Duracells. I've never had a 9V battery leak, so what's so different. Rarely seen one leak in the package either. But install it in an expensive piece of equipment and boom, the corrosion is there! -
Sounds like there’s some serious smoke in the hills! I imagine the outlaws are getting rowdy right about now and old guys who should no better are competing in the hillbilly Olympics.

Why I don't workout as often

Range of motion exercises, aerobics for my heart muscle, sudoku for my brain muscle. If I don't vomit when I look at myself in the mirror, I'm OK. -
I shot at an old school club a couple of weeks ago in Missouri, pistol targets were 30-40ft and rifle targets were 75-80ft. Had to perform a task on the clock on every stage. Was a lot of fun! Most of the matches I shoot are fast and close and that's what I like to do but this was a neat experience. I think I only had one clean stage and my fastest was 32 seconds.

Rayovac batteries have ruined several of my flashlites. I will no longer buy them. I've switched to energizers. -

At the end of the Silent Generation. Lincoln Logs, Electric Trains, Cap guns & BB guns, Dinky Toys and toy soldiers, best were things we made ourselves. Tree forts, snow forts, not to mention campfires and fireworks! Best of times! -
I also use a screw knife or a small screwdriver that I carry on my gun belt.

WD-40 is actually a decent lubricant, However it contains a lot of Paraffins. These stay behind and are what makes WD-40 displace water. In cooler temperatures these paraffins thicken and can restrict the movement of the mechanical parts. -
Funny Photos - add some.

The trigger guard looks right, and you can just see what looks like the cocking handle on it. That square thing is the buckle on the strap of the ill fitting holster she has it in. What I wonder is where is the Bolt Action handle on it.
