When I moved to NC I actually met lobbyists that were being sent from CA to NC to “help bring North Carolina into the 21st century”. Their words not mine. No lawyer tricks, no delays, no excuses about being raped by his priest, gender dysphoria, being systematically oppressed, racially profiled or having 12 personalities. When every thug is 100 percent certain he will be executed after pulling the trigger, this might deter some of them. The stupid ones and mental cases will only do it once. A perp enters a mini-mart and sticks a 38 in the clerk's ear, robs the store, shoots the clerk and all is caught on video.
