pequodmd
Anyone know where I can get real blackpowder, not that other stuff like pyrodex, but more like along the lines of goex or elephant blackpowder, without having to buy 5lbs of it? And also No 11 and No 10 caps

Sedalia Dave
Unless you find the rare shop that carries it, your best bet is to get a couple of other shooters to go in on an order.
Barry Sloe
Caps are rare. Natchez Shooters Supplies had Remington #11s in stock for a while, out now. Before that, Brownells or someone had CCIs, again now out of stock. Do a search for "in stock percussion caps" and see what pops up. Be wary of scams. They are out there. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If the site won't take credit cards, stay away. I shoot APP, black powder sub, so I can't help there. Good luck, Barry Sloe
Eyesa Horg
Try "Maine Powder House " for powder. A recent email indicated they have Shutzen and Swiss
Tyrel Cody
You can get a 1lb at Grafs but that's not very cost effective. Haven't seen any caps in a while now. Looks like you've just joined here. Don't know if you're new to cowboy action shooting or not. If new go to a match or two and see if local folks can help you find what you need. It's also a lot easier to start out this game with cartridge guns.

Doc McCoy, SASS #8381
I get mine from Powder Inc. in Ark. They do have a 5# minimum, but the more you buy the lower the per pound price. So get some friends to share it. I buy at least 25# with several pards sharing. But then too, I use 10# per year. No help with caps, that’s a luck market. You need luck to find them in any market.
