I believe Louisiana already has a law like.Saw a show about it on TV.Kid shot a deer out of state .Game wardens stopped them .Game wardens ended up letting them go back to the state it was shot at.Never heard of it till I saw the show.

We all need to fight this, by 1. voting, and 2. pestering our representatives on all levels, to be against this, and 3. run for office yourself, to make a difference.  

Uh-oh...Is that a "political statement" and thus offensive to those on the SASS site? Maybe. I could not care less...buck-o. 

As with most liberal/socialist/communist/ideas, and edicts, I will simply ignore them, and take my chances. Just because I have some meat in my cooler, in the back of my truck, doesn't mean it is out of state meat. I may have been carrying it with me, from home, to cook at the campsite. 

So...in the words of the gunfighter, Jack Wilson, in his reply to Shane...."Prove It". 

They will have to hire a ton of some, at lest, high school grads, to their ranks, to cover all the inspections. Just like moon-shiners, it won't eliminate this. 

Some people really needed to be taken out behind the woodshed, and giving a good old fashion session with a razor strop, when they were kids. Then maybe they would not be conjuring up such stupid ideas!!!

Saw the same show. I think I remember they had to gat a Louisiana permit to bring it in from another state and they didn't have one. Because it was the kids first deer, he let then go back to Arkansas and then get the Louisiana permit.
