The 72 ounce Big Texan in Amarillo.  If you can finish it in less than an hour it is free.

I wouldn’t even attempt it. :D

I might have been able to finish it back when I was 15.

Hey!  I like vegetarians!

Some of my favorite things to eat are vegetarians.  It's just that I prefer my vegetarianism to be at one step removed from the whole eating plants thing.

We had venison tenderloin Sunday night and sliced the leftovers with bacon, potatoes and eggs for breakfast Monday. Mmmmmm mmm!

I wouldn’t even try.

When I was a kid a steakhouse in Pittsburgh had a similar deal only everyone at the table ate free if one person could eat the whole thing. My Dad tried to eat this platter sized steak. He was unsuccessful. He put a big dent in it though.

If you can't finish it how much does it set you back?

That's enough to feed 6 to 8 , maybe 10, people.

I have been preparing only kidney friendly meals for Carol for the past year or so and red meat isn’t on the menu.
The local market stated carrying some prime beef this year so I went ahead and got a small filet for myself last week.

It was marvelous!

Looks like it was cooked to perfection. The mushrooms and onion rings are a nice addition.

Now I'm hungry...again.

There was a steak house here that had a similar deal. Steak was at 6 lbs. or more, plus you had to do the sides. No ties allowed there, either. If you wore one, they would cut it off and hang it from the ceiling:blush:

Glad I ate it before the price goes up due to the Russian hackers! Putin laughs again.
