Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933 Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Myself and two friends ordered one. The three of us could not finish it.

Michigan Slim Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 We had venison tenderloin Sunday night and sliced the leftovers with bacon, potatoes and eggs for breakfast Monday. Mmmmmm mmm!

I wouldn’t even try. When I was a kid a steakhouse in Pittsburgh had a similar deal only everyone at the table ate free if one person could eat the whole thing. My Dad tried to eat this platter sized steak. He was unsuccessful. He put a big dent in it though.

Utah Bob #35998 Posted June 2, 2021 Author Posted June 2, 2021 I have been preparing only kidney friendly meals for Carol for the past year or so and red meat isn’t on the menu. The local market stated carrying some prime beef this year so I went ahead and got a small filet for myself last week. It was marvelous!

Four-Eyed Buck,SASS #14795 Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 There was a steak house here that had a similar deal. Steak was at 6 lbs. or more, plus you had to do the sides. No ties allowed there, either. If you wore one, they would cut it off and hang it from the ceiling
