I don't know. The sign says BATHROOMS. Everywhere I've seen in this country where you can go in there to tinkle or poop, they call that a restroom. A bathroom would need to have either a tub or a shower or both.

I'm having a little trouble visualizing a bathroom at a fairgrounds. But at a campground...

At some fair grounds the livestock barns have bathrooms complete with showers. These are so that participants don't have to leave the grounds when they need to freshen up.

Miniature horses and pigs have become popular and with more and more people claiming they are "service animals" I suspect the sign is a result of nitwit taking their miniature horse in to the bath room a at a camp ground and using the shower stall to give it a bath.

I didn't think about miniature. I was thinking more along the lines of a Shetland pony. ^_^

Having used to been in the blind business, I have to tell you that you are confused. Mini blinds, like Venetian blinds, go left to right.

Those ones that go top to bottom are called vertical blinds.

Now Alpo, don't go spoiling the Rednecks feeling all uppity and high class believing that they have Mini Blinds.

Verticals not only cost more than minis, but they look better.

But they're pretty fragile.  A lot of weight hanging from a very small plastic clevis .

millenial-socialist-voted-to-raise-taxes-on-property-owners-confused-why-rent-was-raised.jpg

We had a controversial bond a few years ago and my manager who also has about 2 dozen rental houses sent a letter to all his tenants informing that if the bond passed their rent would go up accordingly. Several responded and wanted to know why. After he explained how he was not financially able to adsorb a big increase in property taxes and that each and every property tax increase would be passed on as a corresponding increase in their rent.

He said some of the looks he got were quite amusing as the realization of how the world worked finally came into focus.

Had this happen with a local neighborhood  "friend." She voted for a bond measure to renovate the city parks. She reasoned only property owners had to pay it, it was just a cost of doing business for the landlord; since she rented, she would not have to pay it.

Imagine my pleasure when she told me about the rent increase letter she got. The one where the landlord cited the new tax as a primary reason for the increase! Along with increased repairs needed in common areas.

I voted against the measure since I reasoned the parks in my area did not need renovation. It passed. My nearest park which was just fine before the measure was the first to have plans approved, the first to break ground, and the first to open. A bunch of us in the neighborhood got involved and made it happen. It became the model program for the rest of the city.
