Little known History fact:

Rye Miles was a 1776 Patriot who supplied British forces with bayonets make with soft pot metal.

When the red coats attempted to jab a Patriot, the Patriot would just grab at the bayonet, twist it and

break it off.

NOW THE REST OF THE STORY:

Our Wire Pard and fellow SASS member, Pat Riot, grew up in a small town call 'Bucksnort' and spent his teenage years like most of us.....

hanging out at the local drive-in on Friday night, working on his Mustang, Chevelle, Roadrunner,

GTO, 442....... etc.....during the week, and getting it ready for completion at the local drag strip on Saturday night.

EXCEPT, Pat Riot had a fancy for the Cheerleader Captain in his High School and she had a

part time job at the local Knife factory.

Pat managed to get a part time job at the knife factory, where he help design some (you guessed it)

..... Bayonets for old rifles from the Revolutionary War, Civil War and WWI.

And this is where he garnered up his SASS alias..... Pat Riot   (PatRiot)

When he (Pat Riot) found out that the name of 'Rye Miles' had already been taken, the most

appropriate alias for him to take was 'Pat Riot'.

And NOW, you know the rest of the story.

..........Widder

I would be honored with such a score.  They time me with a calendar.
