  1. She had a check up this morning....her blood work was so good THE DOCTOR TOOK HER OFF OF INSULIN AND BYDUREON! No more needles! She's also officially down 50 pounds. Oddly, her bought of COVID is partially responsible, or so we think. It did something to her system so she is no longer depressed, and when it interfered with her taste buds for about a year and a half her eating habits changed.

  2. Levers are consistent on size...hands are not. Why penalize those with smaller hands? Phantom

  4. My wife started crocheting again a few weeks ago. I bought a little twin lamp work light that she can wear on her neck so she can better see her work. I tried it.

  8. Captain Baylor is not on the Wire. He self published this book during Covid when he had immediate onset total deafness. Creating this book saved him! He paid extra to have high quality color photos. This book is a labor of love from the finally SASS Hall of Fame member, class of 2023. I set up a tent for him beside mine at Land Run so that he could sign books he sold or sign books folks had bought. I have autographed copies of his book and they’re $50 plus shipping. It would make a great Christmas present. I offer free gift wrapping. I don’t mean this to sound rude…but this $50 item is the least of your worries in this game! lol. Seriously, it’ll help you make more Informed choices - - category, caliber, firearms etc. Hugs! Scarlett

  10. A hypnotist was performing in a theater. He told the audience he would put them in a trance with a post-hypnotic suggestion that would make them do something harmless. He brought out a pocket watch on a chain, telling them that this was a very old, and very valuable watch, passed down through generations of hypnotists in his family. He swung the watch back and forth, tell the audience they were getting sleepy...sleepy...sleepy, until they were all hypnotized. But suddenly, the chain to which the watch was attached, broke! The watch fell to the floor, and shattered into pieces! Stunned, the hypnotist, cried out, "$hi+!" It took two weeks to clean up the auditorium!

  12. I tried one out at a match. It was fun w/AA Lites, wouldn't want to use high brass shells in it. Shot 5 rounds out of it, hit the knockdown once. If you were to practice with it often, it could be a very effective HDW. I do think that there are many better HDW guns however that don't require the use of both hands, carry more ammo and are easier to reload. Remember that the people who say "How can you miss with a shotgun?" have never shot a shotgun in competition or under duress.

  13. Yeah, that Paul Drake. The private eye on the early Perry Mason series. Before Perry Mason stardom…..William Hopper….served as an underwater demolition team frogman, deactivating bombs. Petty Officer 1 Hopper returned from WW2 with a Bronze Star with Valor and Asiatic Pacific Medal with 5 Battle Stars. His frogman team was chosen to lead the way for possible invasion of Tokyo/Yokohama Bay, a suicidal mission if there ever was one.

  14. It's that time of year again. The regular season is over. Pundits are debating Alabama, Florida State, or Texas. Coaches get fired, creating space for others to move up a tier or two. Players rush to the portal and NIL dollars in the new way of big time college football. And then there's Army-Navy...

  16. I just bought a 36 bottle pack of Natural Spring Water. (our local water is filled with "stuff " so I don't risk any more health issues). I asked the lady at the register if I could save money if I bought "Unnatural" water instead of the Natural Spring Water. She went nuts, telling me she didn't have any control over what the store sells, doesn't have time for these kinds of questions, and I shouldn't pick on her because she has a Hispanic accent. I took the cart to a self check out stand (Lord how I hate those) while she kept up her tirade. The manager showed up...he's scared of me anyway... and finally came over and asked me what I'd said to her. I told him, a couple of other people told him the same thing, and I left. I'll go back in a few days and see what the result was, but this little idiot had no sense of humor whatsoever.

  20. #1 and #2...by all means YES. #3 is yes in my opinion, however I could care less as to what material might be under the leather/faux wrap that is visual. Some are more comfortable, and safer, with more "padding/block" than others. As long as we keep the visual component a rule, let the shooter have what they desire under it. I don't want to go peeking under shooter's wraps (lever wraps) because they are larger than another shooter's choice.
