Wyatt Earp SASS#1628L
So I bought a Springfield Hellcat a couple of years ago as my EDC. I carried it it a simple pocket sheath in my front pocket. Problem was that it pulled my pants enough that I usually had my hand in my pocket. Of course I ended up carrying it less and less. I researched holsters and found the new kydex for IWB or OWB. I recently purchased an IWB from Concealment Express. Awesome holster, minimalist and secure. Problem was my fabric belts didn't offer much support and the gun flopped around a bit. So, I researched belts and found several brands that are designed specifically for carry. Today I purchased a Nexbelt brand at Sportsman's Warehouse. Can't say enough about the difference this makes. It has a ratcheting buckle system for the perfect tension. Highly recommend this belt and holster brand. 2
Buckshot Bob
The ratchet belts are also my favorite. I’ve also always been looking for a good way to carry wearing basketball shorts or sweats , tried belly bands and was about to order an enigma https://www.phlsterholsters.com/phlster-enigma/ But then I came across this belt https://hunterconstantine.com So far it’s been great , when you’re not wearing pants with belt loops it works really well for me . The only downside I’ve noticed so far is if you’re carrying a full size gun you have to set the belt quite tight. But this may vari by body type. Been using it about 6 months so we’ll see how long it lasts Would also be interested to know if anyone here has tried the enigma , they have a FB group that has allot of suggestions for how to make it comfortable, with different people’s solutions

Sgt. C.J. Sabre, SASS #46770
I wear a plain old 1 3/4" leather belt. If I had a waist instead of a gut, it would be perfect. As it is, I have to hike up my holster occasionally. I imagine that I'd have to do the same no matter the belt.
John Kloehr
I went through half a dozen belts in about four years. Even when a belt seemed good and stiff at purchase, it would get soft after a few months. Then the holster sags and moves away from the body. Another vote for Bullhide, my steel core belt is the only one which is holding up to carry. However be prepared for some break-in, it will rub and be a bit "tight" along the edges for a while. The steel core will not change, the leather will adjust some. For some weeks, I was thinking it was too much belt.

Smokin Gator SASS #29736
The ratchet belts really help you fine tune how tight you want your belt. I have the Kore belt.
JP McLintock
Doubletree Leatherworks builds a lined leather carry belt with a polymer stiffener as a core, customizable if someone wanted something special, additionally the polymer core dosent rot the leather from the inside, adding to the life of the belt. Wyatt Earp SASS#1628L
Kinda hard to see the belt when your shirt is covering it I do remember though, when I became a deputy sheriff in 1980, everybody was buying the same Safariland belt to carry OWB. Tan leather, stitching all around and a brass buckle. Pretty much only cops wore those.

Still have one from back in the day, but I have better newer belts, I mostly wear vests unbuttoned except in the hottest weather.
G W Wade
Really impressed with the Nex belts. Always the perfect size. Plus, there is the banquet feature. When you stand up from your meal, just touch the button and you’re ready for 2nds or 3rds. GW
