I found these at a gun show today.

Each gun has two cylinders and each cylinder is serial numbered for the gun it belongs to.  I’ve never seen this before was this something you could special order?

 Thanks

Well before the 5 1/2 ROAs folks marked their cylinders because they are not completely interchangeable.  Matching serial numbers is a bit much, but it serves the purpose.

Should I try to let him teach me??? Not on your life...I enjoy being married to the man!

It’s easy, powder, wad, ball, press, repeat till you got 5 done, cap the loaded ones and you’re ready to shoot.

I did buy a lottery ticket just now thanks Tucker

Before you go to the expense of lower hammers,  try switching out the grip panels for some slimmer ones.  I found and installed these on my ROA and it made a world of difference.  They are Ruger grips, maybe off a NMV.

Hello Mohawk yes it's been a long time, too long!  We had a lot of fun that year and it would be great to shoot with you again.  Take care my friend and I hope all is well with you and your family.

Hi Sue I will be glad to help you with that, but I need to learn myself first!

Doc,

Very nice.  I am jealous.  Been missing you at Powder Creek.

Eagle Gunfighter grips for an Old Model Vaquero will fit perfectly. The thinner panels make reaching the hammer a lot easier.

Yes Gunfighter grips would be great!

Egads! That’s a nice score there. As to loading, it’s dead simple. powder, ball, grease. Done.

Cleaning is even easier once you learn about Ballistol and “moose milk” (ballistol:water mixed 1:10).
