I do remember them, our local bus company had a couple for a while, but I didn't get to travel on buses until I started High School back in '70. By then they had gotten rid of most of them and my school bus was an old White semi-trailer bus because of overhanging trees on the route. We got on the bus at the halfway point and still had over 1/2hr ride to school, mostly standing because of crowding. Vinegar is best, but if you can't find a vinegar station....get people to pee on it as fast as possible.
