I’m glad with everything that’s happened that you’re still going!

I suspect due to all solar farm building in area, there are some new RV camping  spots between Paris and Clarksville. One large one at Blossum, nothing fancy but lots of slots.

Apparently there is a new RV Park in Detroit called Eagles Nest.  From what I learned on Facebook it is not ready for operation.  It might develop into a viable option for CAC.  I would like feedback if it does.  My wife much prefers full hookup campgrounds to dry camping.

I have been noticing a RV park on south 410 out of Detroit but did not know the name.  From map, it appears to be one you mention.  I noticed it again yesterday evening and it is steadily filling up.  It will be shorter distance than Blossom park to Bar-3, although not near as large a facility as one in Blossom.  As mentioned before, solar farms are probably influencing many of these parks since, as I understand, much of work may continue for several years.

Did you check out the city owned park in Clarksville?

No, not going to CAC this year.  Just checking for the future.  Do they take reservations?  I don't travel to out-of-state matches without reservations.

No, drove by it last year, but haven’t stayed there.  Something I should know?

Last time I drove out that way, park was not well kept. ....rest rooms, etc. But, rv pads and hookups probably work ok.  As long as you have seen it, your expectations are perhaps not to high.  Good barbq on corner of loop and 37. Cheyenne BarBQ in town one of my favorite places but not for their barbs,  but I like their fish. Open til 2 PM Monday thru Thursday and until 7 PM on Fridays.

I’ve stayed at the lake several times. City has added more slabs the last couple yrs. They have been keeping it up pretty good. No sewer at sites, dump station on the way out.  A little too isolated for monthly shoots, but several shooters stay there during CAC. Price is real nice.

Good to hear Jim.  Last time Sassy and I drove out that way it was not really a good camping season so probably the reason it looked so unkept.  Pads did look good however.

Like BB said the park itself has seen better days. But the RV park is in good shape. City had some RV spots in town. But they are way to small for me.

We watched it grow this past year...last trip by in June, it looked busy.

Hahaha!!!

He is something else.

One of the momma cat's  boys that survived the country life.

He is a warrior! Heard 'yotes night before last...and the boy is limping.

BUT...that is as close as he gets to us.

He is a farm cat 100%!
