ORNERY OAF
This may have been beat to death but....being that so many manufacturers now use small primers in 45acp, is that causing issues with collecting your brass? And if so, what do you guys do?
Crooked River Pete, SASS 43485
I just separate large from small and reload the small with small primers.
Michigan Slim
I drop all the small primer brass in my recycle bucket.

Garrison Joe, SASS #60708
It's always been a bad idea. And it still is. Not for collecting brass, but for trying to reload it. Some folks resent having to sort the small from the large before reloading - A LOT. If you keep it off of WB range, it will keep your friends friendly. I toss all I find in my brass scrap bucket - after a quick squeeze with pliers to discourage salvaging it. good luck, GJ
Tom Bullweed
With the primer shortage, having an option to load SP is a plus.
Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474
I sort them out and reload them. It was too hard to find .45ACP here for a while, to be picky, but I do use them where there is longer grass on the floor of the range, rather than sand. WOLFY
I reload them and run them through the Uzi when we’re shooting in the open.

I have LOTS of small pistol primers. Only about 2000 Large pistol primers. Unfortunately I only have about 130 .45 ACP cases that use small primers. Michigan Slim
Make sure there are no steel cases, live ammo or shotgun primers mixed in. Metal X rejected a load on me once for those.
