Tascosa, SASS# 24838 Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 For you city hombres, unlucky enough not to have this view, eat your heart out. Just joshin' ya, no offense intended, but aint that one heck of a beautiful view! Can almost see tomorrow...
Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 It needs a mountain or two, maybe a colorful canyon, too.
Alpo Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Well, it's an improvement over a view of the other end, I'll say that.
Subdeacon Joe Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Well, you can see a fair distance. When we drove across country a few years back - took 80 and once we got into the central area it was flat like that It seemed very strange to not see mountains. Almost disorienting.
Blackwater 53393 Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 I prefer a really crooked road, some elevation changes, and some tall trees. It still beats hell out of a bunch of buildings and snarled traffic!!

We have Palo Duro canyon about 15 miles south of us, the 2nd largest canyon in the US. As for mountains we have to go to New Mexico, the largest county in Texas. Just kidding, don't all you NM hombres get yer chinches too tight.

Pat Riot Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Thanks Tascosa. We do live in a beautiful country. I love wide open spaces.
Perro Del Diablo Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 I live in the city and I see alot of back sides of donkeys. Sad when think about how many I look in the eye.
Wrangler Bob Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Every thing looks good from the back of a horse. Love the scene.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Some nice looking horseflesh, Tascosa
Hoss Carpenter Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Hey Tascosa, nice pics; looks like "miles and miles of miles and miles"! Speaking of Mountains in Texas, there are some really big ones down in the Big Bend Country. Cheers, Hoss C.

The low, dark shadow on the horizon is Martha's Vineyard, 7 miles to the East. And you can't get there by horse. LL
