Looking to get a stock and forearm laser engraved

Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L

Recommended Posts

Have decided that my hand slips back on Marlin 1894 forearm as I shoot. Would use skateboard tape but can't find any 1880s tape (humor here, folks) :)

Welcome all suggestions--figure I'll need to send them off to get done

thanks

I had the forearm on my 73 engraved at the SE Regionals by Klassic Laser Works and couldn't be happier. It looks great and it makes a lot of difference while trying to hang on to the rifle. They're out of Mason, NH @ 603-878-3705.

I have personally had Mogolon Drifter do three of my rifles and I've heard that CHUCKAROO does excellent work.

A huge +1 for Taz and Barb, He spent time making sure that the design was just right, even ran a bunch of test runs on scrap to make sure I was gonna love the design before he did my gun. And like most cowboy shooters, they are great people as well !!!!!!

Jest my opinion, but yer gonna have a hard time finding a period correct laser as well! :D

Personally I think the "old fashioned" way of providing a non slip grip is the most in keeping with our traditional guns - I am talking about checkering your forearm, not doing some new fangled fancy laser carving. It jest don't look right!

YMMV

Yes it was a fully automated process. They took the time to do the pattern I chose as well as putting in a couple accents as well. It took several passes to get the correct depth but when all was said and done I was a happy customer.

Big +1 on Drifter's work.

Excellent quality and good to work with. For me has done knives, rifle stocks, shotgun stocks ans pistol grips all are great and LOTS of choices. Can't go wrong with the drifter.

I've had work done by Chuckaroo and by Mogolon Drifter and you would not go wrong with either.

Check out Russ N. Hound's work. He's done a number of jobs for me and all were very well done.

Russ N Hound went out of business about 4 years ago. Haven't heard from him since. He use to laser engrave our annual awards.
