The Snellville Kid #5408 Regulator Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 She looks like a pretty tough gal and drives a nice car too.
Capt. R. Hugh Kidnme Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Thought she was a C & W singer ?
Moose Wesson Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Thumbs down. Just my two cents worth. Moose
Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 never mind. Thank goodness only two years remain with this terrible administration. GG
Rye Miles #13621 Posted November 8, 2014 Author Posted November 8, 2014 I just wonder where she stands on the gun issue? We don't need another Holder and I read that she's pretty tight with him. So I guess we can surmise that's she's not a fan of gun rights!
Yul Lose Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I'm thinkin she's probably to the left of Holder on almost everything.
guitar_slinger Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 If Obama wants her, I don't. 'nuff said.
Dusty Balz, SASS#46599 Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Bingo , if she fits in with that low life, dishonorable , POS 's. Agenda. We don't want her
Utah Bob #35998 Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I'm sure NRA offices have been burning the midnight oil gathering background on her.
Chantry Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Lynch keeps a low profile, which isn't easy in NYC, but she seems more motivated about the law then about politics. There are 3 court cases involving Lynch as prosecutor in cases involving polticians, the current one against Republican Rep. Grimm and two prior ones involving Democrats, one of which resulted in the Democratic Senate Majority Leader Pedro Esapda getting a 5 year sentence. Obvioulsy we aren't going to like anybody the President could be reasonably expected to nominate, but, for better or worse, she is far more likely to act based on what the law is, then what might be poltically convienent.

I was mainly interested in her views on gun rights. I read all the other stuff about her but I can't find anything about her gun views. I'd guess she's anti but…..

Chantry Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 I was mainly interested in her views on gun rights. I read all the other stuff about her but I can't find anything about her gun views. I'd guess she's anti but….. Probably hasn't gone on record about her gun views. Doubt she will be pro-gun, our chances of getting a pro 2A AG is zero, what we can hope for is that she is neutral on the subject and is more interested in prosecuting criminals using guns, then having ATF do stupid stuff to harass gun owners. I suspect we could have ended up with far worse as an AG and aren't likely to get much better under the circumstances.
Reuben McCoy Rankin # 34239 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 I think he picked her solely to go after the Ferguson PD. I read that she was hard on some of the New York PD.

Wouldn't it be funny if she decided to look into "fast and Furious" and brought charges against Obama and Holder?
Utah Bob #35998 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 I'd be pleased with an AG dedicated to the Impartial enforcement of the law.
Marshal Dan Troop 70448 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Don't forget, she defended the Clinton's on Whitewater. MT
Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Don't forget, she defended the Clinton's on Whitewater. MT We need to be careful about judging this or any nominee based upon anecdotes and buzzwords. I could just as easily say that "Elliot Richardson worked for Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal", and condemn him for serving in the most corrupt Republican administration in recent memory, when the whole truth is that Richardson resigned rather than obey an order from Nixon to fire Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox - an act of personal self-sacrifice and moral strength. The anecdotes in the press seem to indicate that she was a volunteer on the Clinton campaign, and then became a staff lawyer during the Clinton administration. She was subpoenaed by the Whitewater Committee, and testified regarding the missing Hillary Clinton billing records from The Rose Law Firm (she hadn't seen them or handled them). Nothing I have read indicates that she acted improperly, or displayed gross political favoritism or prejudice. To the contrary, other articles suggest that she is a respected prosecutor (someone who puts away the bad guys...) and a capable lawyer. Somehow, we need to get past this tendency to equate all Democrats with the Evil Empire. They're Americans like us, despite having some different views. But they are still our brothers and sisters, and we need to find common ground if we want to move ahead. A start would be to hold back on judging her suitability until she has had a fair hearing. Fire away. LL
