John Barleycorn, SASS #76982 Posted October 30, 2024 Author Posted October 30, 2024 Spoke to Mike today, throat is really sore and his voice was strange, that was from the breathing tube. Surgery (removal of gall bladder) is scheduled for tomorrow.

John Barleycorn, SASS #76982 Posted November 3, 2024 Author Posted November 3, 2024 The latest news, the doctors decided not to remove the gall bladder but were able to remove several stones blocking his bile ducts laparoscopically. He called me at 5:30am I think he was a little out of it from the message he left. We spoke later he’s continuing to improve and I’m sure with some restored function that should continue. Yes, Mike had the gall bladder removed laparoscopically Friday, he was still pretty out of it when my sister and I visited in the evening.
