I bought 5k Cheddites for $240, about $300 with tax, hazmat & shipping.

My little burg has a shortage of Local gun Shops.  Been that way for more than 20 years.  In the last year, Dunham Sports opened a brandy new store in our almost dead mall.  I happened in there tother day.  Whilst on browse I was still disappointed with the availability of Small Pistol primers.  However, they had crap load of Small Rifle.  Since Small rifle and Small Pistol are same same for dimensions, I scored a pile of Small Rifle.  Cool Beans you betcha.  Oh, they were Federals.

Cheddites were $50 a thousand with free hazmat from Brownells a few weeks ago.

Can't hit them all. Once I buy some, I can't really justify buying quickly again. I would like to find reasonable LPP. You can find them, but probably won't like the price.

I think MY prices are quite reasonable- since I sell them pretty much at cost!!

I’ll be at End of Trail next year.

My price for Federal LP is $95 per 1000. How’s that?

I paid $69 a few months ago locally. They only had a few thousand, so that's all I could get. I'll keep looking.

Ended up buying them from Natchez, 10K of the Federal SPP Mag primers, No 200's.  After Tax, Shipping and HazMat, it was $838.02, so $0.084 each in round numbers. Base price for the Mag primers was $74.99/1000.  While I certainly miss the old days of $25.00/1000, if you want to keep shooting, you've got to pay the price.  10K will keep us in ammo through the end of 2026 or there about so we are good for a couple of years anyway. B)  That is if they will actually still ship them to Maryland.  Some places won't, but Natchez has every time I have ordered them in the past so fingers crossed.  Now I just need to find some shotgun primers...

All that being said, I put them in my "Shopping Cart" at Natchez, went off to do some price comparisons, and then got busy with other things.  Finally got around to placing the the order and when checking my email for the receipt, I discovered that Natchez had sent me a "Free Shipping" discount code, but I had already paid the piper.  Could have saved myself about $20 and change.  Oh well, such is life.  Not worth the hassle of trying to cancel the order and then reorder.  With my luck, they would have been out of stock!

I scored a case myself.  Luckly, they are located right down the road and my local dealer/cowboy shooter will pick them up saving me shipping and hazmat fees.

Recently found a deal on White River Energetics SP’s from republiqmmunition.com for $60/1000.  They shot real well out of all of my Cowboy guns.

Natchez sent out another code, today only, $25 off on $250+

Code: D240823

That is slightly better than free shipping ($20) or free hazmat ($23).
