Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait and Egypt will most likely to sit it out. While they are not pro-Israel, they definitely have ZERO love for Iran.

Syria is a wild card as is Turkey.

Lebanon aka Hezbollah and Hamas will go all in with Iran.

The biggest question is will China send arms to Iran and will we stand by Israel.

Iran says Hamas leader killed from close range

I doubt it. The entire area has been a powder keg for thousands of years, but markedly so after 1948.

The only thing that's different now is nuclear devices, explosive (or implosive) and/or radiative contamination. I would not put it past the Iranians to use contamination devices.

Remember Bagdad Bob?  He was claiming there were no American troops in Bagdad while American tanks could be seen in the background while he was reporting.  Reminds me of Mayorkas claming the border is closed and secure.

You can bet your bippy that if Iran uses nukes in any form, Israel will make downtown Tehran a trinitite parkinglot! Israel has never admitted to having nukes, but a book published a number of years ago, called "The Bomb In The Basement" describes Israel's early nuclear program. They also have "lill birdy" called the Jericho 3, which can reach Iran. Hopefully it never comes to that. Perhaps conventional measures would prevent Iran from going nuclear. The U.S. is supposedly sending additional forces to the area, but there is no public information as to what, how and to what extend we will get involved in the region.. Then there is Turkey... Erdogan is threatening to invade Israel! And they are members of NATO. So where does that leave NATO and the U.S. I suspect that if a certain individual was till president, or becomes so, he would call Erdogan and tell him not to do something stupid!

I don’t believe the NATO agreement includes a member nation making an aggressive action.

One can only hope that Iran’s missiles were designed by the people that worked on the SCUD missile guidance system.

Wait! This just in…

With a rumoured 100+ devices, owned by Israel, I don't want to think about what could happen, if they thought they might be overrun or losing.

A lot of the area would only be a memory and old photos.

Way back when (I was in High School, mid 60"s), it was reported that Israel had adopted what they called the

"Samson" doctrine.

Basically, it was a doctrine that stated if they ever thought they were about to be annihilated, they would take EVERYONE

with them.

Personally, I don't know if this is true....... but I would sure hate to be a surrounding nation if things get nasty.

Back about 1972 a friend happened to talk face-to-face with then chief of staff of the IDF air force. The friend asked Modi Hod if, in the extreme (considering the possibility of the Soviet Union becoming involved in the Middle East), without disclosing anything classified, would Israel "pull the temple down around our ears"? According to the friend, Hod smiled and said, "I hope it never comes to that."

I imagine the Jewish Peoples experience in the 1930's and '40's have a lot to do with any response to the danger, (real or perceived) of being overrun.

Their phrase: "Never Again" resonates through all levels of their society and people.

I saw in the news today, that Warren Buffet (Berkshire-Hathaway) is steadily divesting his stocks and going to cash.
The headline said this will come to some $132 billion going to cash.

Buffet has criticized the national debt forever, yet remains a Democrat.
Go figure.
