Outlaw Bullets

A good while back I bought a bunch of the 110 grain cone bullets from Outlaw bullets. I have enjoyed shooting them but I’m running low and they never seem to have them in stock when I look. Have they stopped making them or am I just missing them when they are in stock?

Why don’t you call them and ask?

Waimea who owns outlaw bullets is on the forum.  I get bullets from him all the time, you just have to call and order them.

Wiamea is the chief cook and bottle washer for Outlaw Bullets makes an outstanding product. Give him a call. I'll bet he can hook you up.

I've always thought of him as a little shifty eyed and shady. :P He makes a good bullet though. Just PM him,  he'll answer pretty quick.

Called and text (per his page) but haven't heard back yet. I am sure I will when he gets free though.

Waimea here.

I just started back at the shop yesterday from a 12 day medical "vacation".

Cataract surgery with a little retina work thrown in for fun.

Some folks walk out of the surgery center amazed at their new vision.

I walked out blind and stayed that way for 4 days.

I'm sorry I haven't gotten back.

I will catch up today.

Yes, I'm still making bullets at least for the foreseeable future.

Hopefully eye #2 goes better.

June 2.

Man, that is horrible. Hope you are getting back to normal. Some things take a priority over making bullets for us.

Just wanted to post a follow up. After speaking to Waimea I ordered 4,000 bullets and the process was fast and easy.

Blind for 4 days? Sounds like the aftermath of a large match parking lot party.:lol:

Hope eye #2 goes much better for you, eye #3 and 4 also.

Yeah, thanks.

I guess that's why they only do one at a time. Still, I was NOT a happy camper.

I am kind of going through something similar. I had Lasik Surgery on Feb 13th and they overcorrected my distance vision. I have to wear readers to pull my distance vision back to shoot my guns and drive sometimes. They are supposed to do an adjustment mid June, but I am NOT looking forward to it as the surgery itself is not pleasant.

Hope you get better!!!!

Yeah, they didn't really prepare me for what was going to happen.

Just before I went in the Sleep doc says, I'm going to give you something to put you out for about 5 minutes. Then I can stick a needle in your eye to numb it. Kind of like a tooth.

Then you can be awake during the procedure.

Wait, stick a needle in my eye!

And I don't remember saying I want to be awake.

I'm getting better as the days go on. It's just not a cake walk.

Hope yours goes well.

Yup, I loved that needle in the eye thing too! " Then we will cut the old lens out with a scalpel" . I didn't have any blindness, but a blue halo when the patch came off in the morning with dark shadows on the sides. Ten years later, I'm wearing glasses again!

Lenses to correct vision and astigmatism - $4000

Lenses just to correct vision - no charge.

Those that know me know which way I went.

I was getting cloudy vision and sparkles at night from headlights. Doc wanted 10K each plus hospital for another 5K each. He did the surgery for each at 5K if I paid in advance! Which is what I did. Until I had to get glasses again, I needed several different strength cheapo readers depending on the distance. IE reading, computer, working at the bench. I can still walk around and drive without them though.
