McCandless Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 This one has been mine for last couple of days...
Rip Snorter Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Kristofferson - Silver Tongued Devil. I won't post the song to avoid infecting others! He was pretty good in Pat Garret and Billy the Kid as well.
Calamity Kris Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Isn't that Annette Funicello in the white dress?

DocWard Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 I almost got bodily thrown off of a bus at Ft. Gordon, GA for bringing up this song as an ear worm:

The interesting thing is that if you go to the YouTube page that is on, and you look at the little blurb that the guy that posted the video said, he tells you that's Frankie Avalon. Does not say diddly about Annette.

Trailrider #896 Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 I was in love with Annette (along with about 100,000 other young teenage boys, who watched her...uh, ah... mature on the Mickey Mouse Club). It was so sad many years later when she was ill and finally died from MS. For all the supposed hanky pankey on the Beach Blanket movies, she never acted as anything but the pure girl next door!

Singin' Sue 71615 Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Almost always in my ear...catch myself humming MT quite often!
Modoc Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 I’m trying to get the song Jr. was listening to out of my head right now. Maybe I’ll retaliate on him with some vintage Ray Stevens.
