Have you met his sheila?  You'd use any excuse to lock yourself away for years too.

An exceedingly rare event. Far more crocs are killed by drop bears.

Sixteen years and seven months. Just to be pedantic.

There is a view of English writing where the representation would be correct, but the requirement of consistency has greater precedent.

That's another thing that otto does that pi---annoys me.

From numbers one through nine he spells them. But once it's a double digit number he uses the number. And he will do that in the same sentence.

"I went to the store and bought three loaves of bread and 17 bagels".

He wrote that, I didn't. But I knew that's what he would do.

omg NO!!!!!! ...... that's processed cheddar cheese .......  😝

That, my friend, is American cheese. And as a proud American, I also say no to it. It is a vile congealed mix of fat and chemicals not fit for human consumption.

With that understanding, I guess beets can't hurt it any.

Actually, Tillamook sliced is pretty good, far better than any other I have tried.  Not inexpensive.

While American cheese IS a processed product, good American cheese is just a tasty blend of other cheeses, sometimes colored with a beta keratin component.  Cheddar, Jack, Swiss, and Colby can be found in many blends.

If you read the labels, you can find some really high quality, flavorful, nutritious American cheese.  Ausies seem to like it pretty well!  I see it all the time in food pics offered here!!

I suppose if you used enough of it on those nasty beets, SOME folks might be able to gork the beets down…

Tillamook does not make American Cheese. All of it's cheeses are real. It is an American company. It does not make a product by the name American, it makes Cheddar, Swiss, Colby, Jack and more. They are all real cheeses. No "process" products.

You might note, I called it sliced.

In Summer here in Oz, it wouldn't be unusual to have beetroot on toast for breakfast, on a sandwich for lunch and with a salad for dinner.
