We had Netflix around 2004 or so.  For about 3 months.  Decided back then it wasn't worth it.

We had it long ago, but the parental controls were not good and they kept displaying movies and descriptions in the menu list we did not want are kids to even get a glimpse and get curious about. Mostly the problem was unrated international films you could not filter out ( do to being unrated) that appeared available for viewing on the various movie menus; many of which appeared to be no more than homosexual pornos.

I got rid of my subscription when they decided to use their own editorial powers to make a Netflix Original that glorified child sexual abuse, and then chose to defend it.
