Books to read during these unusual times.

Recommended Posts

During these unusual days ahead, what books can you recommend?

I like reading off of my Kindle and there's no problem downloading Kindle books.

So, I'm looking for some good reads.

My recommendation:

"Spearhead" by Alan Makos

For hard times I like Job.

For fun reading, almost anything by Turtledove, Weber's Honor Harrington series, the "Ring of Fire" series by Flint et al.

It is a good read. Found an original copy in my house and have been reading it. Dated yes, still a good book.

From one the characters: Baby can you dig your man. He's a righteous man.

Terry Brooks' Sword of Sharanna series. Here is the chronological order

Stephen King's The Dark Tower Series.  Note you have to read in order starting with The Last Gunfighter.  The Last Gunfighter is not his best work but it is key to understanding the main characters in the series.

For short westerns believe it or not L. Ron Hubbard wrote some pretty good ones.
