Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Texans win 27/14 Quote
Subdeacon Joe Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 They made that play offs. Then they lost Carr. Then they lost McGloin. I'm just happy they made the play offs. Quote
El Hombre Sin Nombre Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 It does suck that a 12-4 team has to play at a 9-7 team. I doubt that it would have made much of a difference in this case. Number one defense against a rookie first time starting third string quartback. Next year Quote
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 And so are the Lions. Quote
Yul Lose Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 The Lions looked worse than the Raiders, IMO, of course. Quote
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 They got a couple of bad calls go against them, but they did not look anything like last week at Green Bay. Quote
Michigan Slim Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 As a LIons fan I'm thinking its almost time to start wearing sacks on our heads again. Wouldn't want our friends to see us at the game..... Quote

El Hombre Sin Nombre Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 That is an advantage given to the teams with the best records. Huh? In this case the team with the better record had to play away. So what exactly are you talking about? Quote
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted January 9, 2017 Author Posted January 9, 2017 And the Giants go home. Quote
Yul Lose Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 That is an advantage given to the teams with the best records. Actually the division winners get the home game whether it be wild card or divisional championship. The Texans with a worse record got the home game because they won their division, the Raiders with the better record were a wild card team and had to play on the road against a diivision winner. Kansas City won the western division so they got the home game which they'll play next weekend, as will New England. Quote

AHa, the 12-4 wildcard. I must apologize. I paid so little attention to Oakland this year. I thought they sucked. Did not realize they had a decent record. Quote
Trigger Mike Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 I'm just surprised the Falcons made it. every other time they do they always botch it before the bowl or even worse totally blow it at the super bowl Quote

Blackwater 53393 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 So the Packers take the first half of the season off, win out the second half and capture the division, beat the Giants, who are supposed to have a stifling defense, convincingly, and move on to face the league leading team that was beaten twice by the Giants. Could there be a pattern developing here?? Quote
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 They will be overconfident Quote
Trigger Mike Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 i want to know how come the Falcons have a better record than the Packers and our quarterback does not do State Farm commercials and theirs does. Quote
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 My guess is that Ryan does not want to water down his credibility. Or he is holding out for more money Quote

Blackwater 53393 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 (edited) i want to know how come the Falcons have a better record than the Packers and our quarterback does not do State Farm commercials and theirs does. It may be because the Foulcans haven't made the playoffs consistently in years and Ryan has never won a Super Bowl!! Edited January 9, 2017 by Blackwater 53393 Quote
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted January 9, 2017 Author Posted January 9, 2017 Aaron Roger's face is very well known. Mr. Ryan's not so much. In the advertising world, that = return on dollars spent. Quote
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Yeah, Packer fans are fanatical fans. Roger's image sells. Falcon fans, not so much. Quote
