Cat Brules
I have been watching some old 30's. 40's and 50's movies and some of the scenes are very smart and very suggestive. Which ones from that era are your favorites? :-p :-)

Dawg Hair, SASS #29557
!959 while going to school in Wash D.C. I saw "The Lovers" with Jeanne Moreau. It did not have any actual nudity but, boy, was it ever suggestive! I was seventeen at the time and am 72 now and I still think that was the most erotic film ever! Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
I do not recall the name of the movie, but W.C. Fields was a dentist and he had a young lady(?) in the chair. The movements were VERY SUGGESTIVE. Much too advanced for a 13 year old male. Cat Brules
There are a couple Humphrey Bogart films that have provocative scenes: In The Big Sleep, Bogart is keeping an eye on a book shop. He ducks into another book shop across the street, where the attendant, Dorathy Malone, and Bogart exchange some words on a rainy afternoon. Another.Bogart film, To Have and Have Not, has Bogart exchanging words with Lauren Bacall: "You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? You just put your lips together and blow!" There are many more in those old films; mostly before our time. Today's films don't leave much to the imagination.

Marshal Dan Troop 70448
I know that the post says, "pre 1960s", but just a year later, a film considered the worst movie sci-fi movie ever made, even worst then "Plan 9 from Outer Space", is the "Beast of Yucca Flats". It starts out with a nude scene murder. When released there were 2 copies available with/without the topless scene. Many theatres didn't know or received the wrong version. When shown on TV the movie is shown without. The movie was so bad, there was never an outcry on the topless scene were seen, it also had nothing to do with the movie.
