Utah Bob #35998
"I used her, she used me and neither one cared." I calls that a fine statement on equality.
DocWard
I'm quite a fan of his music. "Like a Rock" (despite being co-opted for a commercial) is a favorite. I love the slide guitar work in it. If you like music videos, it has a good one. "Turn the Page" is the song about the rock band on tour. A true poet of our time.

Gray Hare, SASS #20821
Bob Seger is my favorite singer. He puts on a great concert, I have seen him 3 times and would go again in a second!! My Favorite was Turn the Page until I heard Against the Wind in concert, now its my favorite song. Alto Reed's Sax will give you cold chills to. Dirty Dan Dawkins
In my opinion greatest opening verse in Rock n Roll history: "I was a little too tallCould've used a few poundsTight pants points hardly reknownShe was a black haired beauty with big dark eyesAnd points all her own sitting way up highWay up firm and high"
Blackwater 53393
I think the worst thing he ever did was katmandu. It wasn't all that bad but it certainly wasn't his best effort.
Charlie Harley, #14153
Stood alone on a mountain top, Starin' out at the great divide I could go east, I could go west, It was all up to me to decide Just then I saw a young hawk flyin' And my soul began to rise And pretty soon My heart was singin' "Roll Me Away" I wish I had a dime for every time these lyrics spoke to me. They're poetry in their own right, but set to music and sung by Mr. Seger, they're on another plain.

Rolling Stone
Someone from Detroit or maybe anywhere in Michigan can chime in, but in the late seventies there was at least one radio station near "D" that played exclusively Seger music. I drove a semi and delivered there and loved to listen to that station. I thought it was great he had that kind of support. Later I heard of a station in Philly that played Sinatra only.I didn't try to locate that station. Rolling Stone
