Alpo Posted January 31 Posted January 31 (edited) I wonder who that fellow waving his headHAT, DAMMIT at the camera is? He's got a Bill Cody beard, but that was very common back then, and he's way too tall for Bill. Edited January 31 by Alpo otto is an imbecile 1 Quote

Stump Water Posted February 1 Posted February 1 They can get guns and pistols at the hardware store. 1 Quote
Alpo Posted February 1 Posted February 1 I thought it was interesting how they had a gun shop right next to the hardware store. That sign on the saloon - it says WINE CIGARS. When I first looked at it I thought it said Winchester. Obviously a gun store. 1 Quote

Okay he wasn't Marshall until 1876 and I believe he was the first one to prohibit carrying of firearms in Dodge City. It may have been requested byt the photographer that no guns were to be displayed. Quote
Timothy Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I believe it was called buffalo city before dodge. Would anyone else care to hunt big game with the finest most powerful rifles all day rather than prospect, march at the fort or drive cattle? Quote
