Rooster Ron Wayne
Good morning Pards . Just thought I would show off my new beautiful Pietta Del Rio DLX Colt 45 . I really am impressed with the quality and workmanship of this Pietta . She is Laser engraving and hand chased . The fit & finish is second to none. Pietta has stepped up the game and the quality is getting to the USFA quality of guns. I would call the new Pietta revolvers the highest quality Colt clone available today . Dutch Nichols, SASS #6461
sorry not even close to any USFA. Pietta is using MIM small parts. USFA all forged parts. Sorry, but a MIM trigger does not instill confidence. Let alone other MIM action parts!! Pretty gun though.

They are considered one of the strongest guns to run the high power rounds threw . So I don't think MIM parts are really that big of a deal . I can tell you the fit and finish is excellent on these new Pietta's .

For a goodly portion of USFA production they used some or all Uberti parts. Uberti parts are darn sure not all forged.

Abilene, SASS # 27489
I'd call EMF anyway if you don't find one elsewhere. Guns.com would have gotten theirs from EMF. Websites are often out of date. They might also be able to suggest another distributor or dealer (Buds, etc) that they have sent some to. Good luck.
Idaho Gunslinger
I contacted EMF back in January to ask about availability of Alchimistas in 2023. They said they haven't been getting as many guns from Italy since the plague and they were at the mercy of whatever Pietta sends them with no real control over it. In short they didn't know. That was over 3 months ago so maybe they have an update.

I'm looking for a Pietta stainless steel 4 3/4 357. I would also consider a tayolrs stainless cattleman same specs. I called Taylor several months ago when looking for a white 1873....they would not commit to any time frame of stock. I figure the bat cough is a big part, import BS thanks to Biden another. I hope it gets better at somepoint.
