Badlands Bob #61228 Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 I can just envision Genghis hanging around the campfire enjoying the music.
Pat Riot Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 My favorite song by The Hu Band. It takes just over a minute for the song so you could scroll ahead of you like. 01:04 to be exact.
Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933 Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 You know when you hear a song and then just can't stop humming the tune. This ain't one of those.
Subdeacon Joe Posted November 11, 2021 Author Posted November 11, 2021 Then there is the North America version
Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Those first two videos that joe sent fascinate the bejabbers out of me You have man playing a two-stringed instrument that sounds like two separate instruments. THEN the player sings with the sound of two singers singing side by side. You may not appreciate the music (I do), but you have to tip your hat to the skill and ability these guys show. Thanks, Joe. Something else that I ever heard of before.
Wallaby Jack, SASS #44062 Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Doctor Sheldon Cooper tried it once ............... NEVER AGAIN !!!

Traditional instruments and methods being applied to a modern music genre. I've always thought of Wolf Totem as being the Mongol's answer to the Maori haka. It's pretty much 5 minutes of Mongols talking smack. I know quite a few folks that added it to their workout music mix. They released a cover of Metallica's Sad But True as a single a few months ago. If you look it up on Youtube, read the comments- they are as entertaining as the music video.
Finagler 6853 Life Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Ummmm. No. Just the thought of trying to make my vocal cords relax that much so that each of them reverberate with a different pitch gives me a headache. I did think it was neat to see all those hogs in one place. Must have been every Harley in the country there at that spot.
