Federal small pistol mag primers as well as the large pistol primers that have been available for awhile. Same high prices but you can buy 10,000.
Captain Bill Burt Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Interesting. $934 gets me 10,000 Federal small magnum match primers. Tempting.

Null N. Void Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Thanks for the heads up. I ordered 3000 Federal SPM.
JohnWesleyHardin Posted October 5, 2021 Author Posted October 5, 2021 I am afraid these prices are going to be the norm in the future. Grab em while you can.
Garrison Joe, SASS #60708 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Not convinced. When demand drops back to normal, prices will SOMEWHAT. I'll cruise for another year to two on my stockpile, thanks. A year ago, "we're never going to see primers again" Now, it's "prices are sky high." Future - more back to normal month by month. This is just about on the schedule that the industry leaders said last fall would play out - supplies would start getting back on shelves in September 2021 and normalize by New Years 2022. Stay tuned! GJ

And since your son shoots twice as fast as you, does that count as double the primers needed ?? (sarcasm added for humor)

So far he's always below me on the final list.

Anvil Al #59168 Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Was able to get some early yesterday before they ran out. Not as many as I would have liked (lot of big expenses this month) But did grab a few. E-mail today says they have shipped. Was also able to let a few friends know really early and they picked some up also. Yes they was on the high side. But at least we got a few. Have been able to hit the local Cabelas and have picked some up the last few months at $79.
