I stand corrected! There are great silo and water tower paintings over here, too! Painted by an Aussie? That's cool, I like their accent! And they have a great sense of humour! (That's Aussie for Humor).

 A little while ago there was a thread about the town Johnny Cash was born in and their water tower and it's artwork depicting "The Man In Black" with his guitar. And the bullet hole and it's subsequent leak .........

        ...... and whether or not it was a good shot .............  :blush:

I heard that y'all are having some of the rain that was supposed to be sent to Texas!

STOP it! We need it more than y'all!

Seriously, I hope none of our Aussie friends have damage from the rain or flooding.

Houston is so flat that the water just goes everywhere!

But at least our utes are tall! Sometimes our houses are, too!

Its been pretty bad for the majority of the East Coast (the most populated area of Australia) with record breaking rains delivered in 48 hours and still going on.

26 areas have so far been declared Natural Disaster Areas, the Australian Military has been mobilised to help.

 ....... and some of these areas are only just recovering from the last round of flooding ..... :mellow:

There was story yesterday about a young family that had just moved back into their "repaired from flood damaged" home;

 only for it to go under again  :(

Or a small town Meat and Three in South Georgia during the peanut harvest.

I got stuck in a 'traffic jam' in Plains last year- it was late evening and I got stuck in the middle of the tractors pulling the peanut wagons into town.
