Neat thing is Goats prefer weeds to good graze. There used to be a service out her you could hire, they'd put a temporary electric fence around an area, drop a water tank and a small herd of goats. Payment on completion. 4 Quote

We have a similar service - goats graze off the poison ivy.... 4 1 Quote

That one's dated the 11th of April and the expiration date is the 28th of April. Although, I suppose he could be late with his payment, and he's paying for the entire month of April. Second - they did that in England also. They may still do that - I don't know. But the BBC did not have commercials, so that was how they paid for the television. Kind of like how, when cable first came about, you paid for it so you didn't have to have commercials. Now you pay for it and you still have commercials. Back when you had the license, did you have commercials? I assume you have them now? One last thing. You say that the television tax was done away with in 74? But that receipt is dated April of 75. Answer to my first question - I just saw that the date of payment is April of 1974 but the date of expiration is April of 1975, so it must be good for a year. Edited August 1, 2022 by Alpo Quote
Rip Snorter Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 4/11/74 to 4/28/75 'less I'm reading it wrong. Dropped TV 16 years ago when I moved to the ranch, haven't missed it at all. 2 Quote

Buckshot Bear Posted August 4, 2022 Author Posted August 4, 2022 Australia II (KA 6) is an Australian 12-metre-class America's Cup challenge racing yacht that was launched in 1982[1] and won the 1983 America's Cup for the Royal Perth Yacht Club. Skippered by John Bertrand, she was the first successful Cup challenger, ending a 132-year tenure (with 26 successful defences) by the New York Yacht Club. 3 Quote

Quite a few colleges with such stadiums are in small towns that see their population double or triple on the day a home game is played. Auburn University has a stadium that seats over 90K- the population of the entire town is just over 80,000- for example. It would have topped 100K except the Powers That Be decided to put luxury boxes up instead of seats in the last end zone expansion. Edited August 4, 2022 by Smuteye John SASS#24774 3 Quote

The traditional form of the dish is made with a pitted prune and bacon, but dates are also used, usually steeped in brandy or some other liqueur. My comment: Anything wrapped with bacon will be good! 3 2 2 Quote
