Alpo
That's another thing that otto does that pi---annoys me. From numbers one through nine he spells them. But once it's a double digit number he uses the number. And he will do that in the same sentence. "I went to the store and bought three loaves of bread and 17 bagels". He wrote that, I didn't. But I knew that's what he would do. 1 1

And as a proud American, I also say no to it. It is a vile congealed mix of fat and chemicals not fit for human consumption. With that understanding, I guess beets can't hurt it any. 2 1

Blackwater 53393
While American cheese IS a processed product, good American cheese is just a tasty blend of other cheeses, sometimes colored with a beta keratin component. Cheddar, Jack, Swiss, and Colby can be found in many blends. If you read the labels, you can find some really high quality, flavorful, nutritious American cheese. Ausies seem to like it pretty well! I see it all the time in food pics offered here!! I suppose if you used enough of it on those nasty beets, SOME folks might be able to gork the beets down… Edited June 22 by Blackwater 53393 1

Tillamook does not make American Cheese. All of it's cheeses are real. It is an American company. It does not make a product by the name American, it makes Cheddar, Swiss, Colby, Jack and more. They are all real cheeses. No "process" products. https://www.tillamook.com/products/cheese Edited June 23 by John Kloehr Otto

Buckshot Bear
In Summer here in Oz, it wouldn't be unusual to have beetroot on toast for breakfast, on a sandwich for lunch and with a salad for dinner. 1
