LawMan Mark, SASS #57095L
I have a calendar saved that tells me how many days it is until July 29th, 2024. Thats the day I plan on full retirement. But that's still 1095 days and change away. So I did the math and found out that's only 156 weeks... Sounds a lot better. So from now on, I'm counting by weeks. Badlands Bob #61228
2024? That seems like such a long way away. I think the last 6 months before retirement was the hardest for me.
Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933
Or you could be like a baby's age and count by months.
Widder, SASS #59054
You could consider something like 5 days in a work week x 156 weeks = 780 days till retirement. Throw in some holidays and vacation time and its even less. Good luck. ..........Widder

Matthew Duncan
Counting how many days till retirement is like checking your investments every day. Don't, drive you nuts and discouraging.

My grandmother used to say that second, third, and from then on babies took nine months. That first one, however, sometimes took as little as four. Back in your Grandmothers day, she was most likely correct. Today, for whatever reason, most are at least 3 to 4 weeks past 'due date'... Going on the % of my family's and their friends history. Pat Riot
I have 340 days I know what you mean @LawMan Mark, SASS #57095L I was counting months, @Injun Ryder, SASS #36201L was counting days for me until January 2023, but then I decided that July 4th or 2022 will be my last day here at this gawd forsaken bureaucracy. My attitude is so much better now. When something irks me now I just think "In less than a year I am GONE." and things are much better.

We celebrated my grandparents 50th in 1972, later found out they were married in 1923 but because they didn’t want anyone thinking about George’s quick birth they told everyone 1922.
