309 were destroyed. 

Everytime a car was jumped it had to be scrapped, due the structural integrity was compromised.

Before they were junked, they were stipped for parts.

I saw the General Lee boneyard in Burbank CA back in the 80’s. Heart breaking. I counted at least 150.

Be real nice to drive one up and down the line at a “protest” with about 30 people with sticks walking alongside it.

Surprised....You could count that far....Could not help it....It is Sunday and nothing to do....

I watched a show , on the show once and they said that is one of the primary reasons they chose the charger . They had discussed using camaro’s and a couple of other cars but it eventually came down to cost . 
Now look what the show has done to the price of a charger . When I  was a kid there was always a general Lee for sale somewhere and that’s in Mi , can only imagine what it was like down south

They already wrecked the General Lee toy car 5 years ago by eliminating the Confederate flag on the roof.
