JEDI GF ..... Posthumously to Lightning Cat

As alot of the normal Wire pards already know, a JEDI GF is someone who not only shoots the GF category atleast some of the time but more important, they give back to SASS/CAS more than what is expected of them.

 

In other words, their involvement has improved the game for those around them and benefitted SASS/CAS as a whole.

 

There are those GFer's that the JEDI Council recognizes and has them on the radar but just by our own shortcomings, we fail to recognize some in a timely manner.

 

Due to the untimely passing of Lightning Cat, the JEDI Council, thru the much needed help and assistance of Painted Filly, communicated with the Family of Lightning Cat to insure our wishes in this special recognition was done with the utmost respect to show honor in his memory.

 

Last night, at the Colorado State match, Painted Filly announced the recognition of Lightning Cat as JEDI GF.

 

Thank you Painted Filly for all your help.

 

We have ask Cobra Cat to wear the JEDI GF pin to honor the memory of Lightning Cat.

 

In his honor and memory, Lightning Cat is JEDI GF #177.

As a Colorado lady gunfighter who really looked up to Lightning Cat even though he was half my age, all I can say is a big thank you to you and everyone else involved in this. It's a wonderful thing what you all just did, and I'm sure that somewhere up there, Gordon is smiling. Bless you all for doing this!

It was well deserved of a deserving young man. I feel blessed to have called him friend. As it turned out right before the awards ceremony his family did a video montage of him and then I had the great honor of awarding this to that fantastic family. Shortly after awarding this Cobra Cat became the 2013 Colorado State Champion! Was a great night!

 

Congrats! Lightning Cat! We will forever remember you!
